My parents bought their first home after my dad retired in the middle of 2021 and one of the things they were most excited about was expanding an existing road so they could more easily access the top part of their property. Unfortunately, a few short months after they purchased it their property was impacted by a large California fire, my dad died a short time later, and my mom was left to try to navigate trying to keep everything together. As her oldest daughter, I had to help her quite a bit administratively but is hard when I live several hours away and even with my brother moving his family out there to help her, navigating everything the property and estate needs has been difficult. As a family of faith, I prayed that God would send the right people to help our family and to help my mom.

Then enters Forrest a little over a year ago, as if sent by God. We decide one of the first things we want to do is start on that road that my dad wanted. He listened carefully to my brother and walked the property. He spent a long while on the phone with me to make sure he understood what my mom needed and could afford. And without hesitation he immediately put me at ease that he could deliver on everything my mom wanted and on her timeline. He helped us arrange the prelim plans and then waited around for almost a year until she was ready to start. He broke the job up into manageable phases and this year, broke ground and finished Phase I in 2 weeks just this month. It’s already looking fantastic! Plus, he saw other areas where my family needed help on the property and went above and beyond to come back out and help out with some of those things just as a friendly gesture.

I’ve always been obsessed with the nostalgia of good old fashioned neighborly love - in modern days we’ve lost that, but Forrest, his family, and the guys he has on his team - they embody that in every way. His work is impeccable. His service is top tier. And his heart is sincere. I recently found out he is a veteran as well; my dad served in Vietnam and he would’ve loved him 🥹 as a fellow veteran and as a human being. My mom and dad have spent their entire lives taking care of others and giving back to the community. To now have someone who is honest and trustworthy looking after my mom and who has the skillset to do this job and so many other things she needs throughout the years is a heaven-sent blessing. Our family will be using FTC land management for services and trusted recommendations for generations to come. 1000/10 would recommend!!

Forest, the owner, is on the job. He is skillful in all aspects of construction. Work is done with him in the lead not passed to others. He provides regular communication via text or phone. This was second time I hired FTC.

Forrest and his team did a great job clearing a couple acres of my property that were heavily overgrown. They cleared out the ladder fuels and some downed trees from previous storms.

They cleared out team was receptive to my requests for access for maintenance without losing all privacy.

FTC brought out all the right equipment and finished my project without leaving for another in the middle. This can be common when the tree work is separate from the groundwork, not to mention the cleanup that can drag on and on.

All in all, the face I saw at the estimate time was the face overseeing the job everyday, and that was important to me. Highly recommend these guys!

FTC Land Management cleared about 3 acres of overgrown blackberries, poison oak (lots of poison oak) and trees, both dead/fallen and live (oak, bay leaf, wild plum and more) in 3 days what would have taken me 3 years. The firebreak they have created at the back of my home has not been opened up since the 1960's. 60 to 70 years of growth they removed. 5 man crew with 2 bobcat size machines and a large tree chipper and some smaller equipment. My husband and I were very impressed by day 3 both by their professionalism and dedication to doing it right. I highly recommend them for any land clearing job.

Forrest did a great job masticating parts of our property for fire safety. He communicated well, showed up on time and completed the work as agreed upon for the price quoted.

FTC cleared 5+ acres in Mountain Ranch for me just a month ago. Forrest and crew provided excellent service that will help us restore our property that had been almost untouched after it burned in the Butte Fire. I highly recommend FTC.
